All I can say is......

Shit!

I have yet to see a jig that indexes off the already drilled safety detent hole.  If you don't center on that hole, the safety selector will be off of 9 and 12 o'clock.  
Am I missing it, or does this one take the safety detent into consideration?

Easy with the ar-15, as the various manufactures tend to follow the same specs.  But I've found at least 3 different measurements locating the safety detent on AR308's.  And I've only done about 10 total.

Well that's just great.  I just bought the (now older jig) from 5D  4 weeks ago, and its still sitting in the box brand spanking new and nothing used.
I wonder if they will take it back for an upgraded version.

Ive been putting this purchase off for a while, now I think it is time to buy! Ive been worried about messing up, but this looks like anyone can tackle it.

Yes, Yes it is.  When I first saw it I knew right away that it was the best out there.  So when time came I bought the steel Jig and 2 sets of tools.

Too bad I don't see they offer their older version anymore.  It was $50 cheaper and would have worked good enough for me as a first jig.. was waiting to see if they had any deals for Black Friday but looks like I waited too long and will now have to pay more for this one even though it does look a little nicer.

I'm sure that the current jigs are causing them a lot of heartburn and they'd like to ban them if they could figure out a way to do it.

A friend of mine and I were talking about this jig last night.

Time to buy.

I have the first gen jig and I don't see how it could be any easier. Literally takes me about 35 minutes from start to finish. I'll have to check this new one out.

Well I sent my NEW steel JIG back and 2 original router jig tool kits  for the upgrade to the PRO jig.  Got there on the on the 27th
