There is a hole in the upper part of the jig where that pin goes to guard the rear pocket, high enough not to get cut with the bit.
I believe on their youtube tutorial they show it as well. |

Yep, also been careful with the pin holes and safety drilling.
I was off my very small amount (crooked) and the hammer would not fall until I addressed it. Drill press is best. |

Yeah, I've done a bunch of AR 15 lowers with the gen 1 jig. Do have to be careful. Thanks.
