Go for it. You'd have to really skimp on components to be able to build one from parts for $270.

I got the 11.5 PSA upper. Runs well. I waiting for them to come back in stock for another.

My thumb was hovering over the "order" button on the $249.99 A9 upper two days ago. Has to pass because I allocated that money for something else.
Hopefully Black Friday will show us some great buys. |

Nice little upper to make a Colt like "Commando". Looks like $169.00 today w/o BCG and handle.
I assume they have the gas port diameter right. Which buffer do they recommend? alpharomeofifteen: Very nice build! - Where did you get your barrel or barreled upper? |

I have 2 10.5's and an 11.5. All run great. I have only run the 10.5 suppressed. Runs like a champ.

I have this upper on a pistol with shockwave brace wating for a stamp to arrive.
Haven’t shot it much but happy with it thus far. |

I Fo'd on a 10.5" CHF upper a while back and used it for my Form 1 SBR. Probably my favorite gun I own. DO IT OP JUST DO IT
