Since my first build is in this thread somewhere and I'm starting my third, I should post a picture of my second that I finished back on 10/25/20115
All Colt except for the lower, muzzle device, and charging handle. All of the Colt parts are from 1968-1970, except for the FCG which from a 2015 Colt LE6920. I didn't see any sense in using a full-auto FCG. If you have never shot an original/early 60x / M16 / M16A1 rifle, it is a great experience. |

First and latest build almost complete... Still needs KNS anti-rotational pins and maybe a Magpul BAD lever
-Complete BCM Mid Length Upper -BCM Mod 4 Charging Handle -BCM BCG -Troy Rear BUIS -Unbranded red dot barely fit for airsoft purely there for looks  (Got an Aimpoint Comp ML3 en route from the EE)
-Daniel Defense Omega Rail 9.0 -Magpul VFG -Anderson Lower -DPMS LPK -Geissle SSA-E -Magpul CTR and commercial spec buffer assembly -Magpul K2 |

So this is my first post and I wanted to show off my first build. I say first because I highly doubt this will be my last. Just want to say thanks to everyone on this forum for all the information I learned researching builds and information.
Here are the goods: Spikes Tactical stripped lower (Calico Jack Logo - this came with the bullet markings of PARLEY, PLUNDER, and ARRR; I didn't know I ordered this one at the time but I was ok with it when I received it) Ares Armor Archimedes Lower Kit - I got this at a deal (or so I think) of $215; this kit included all the standard lower parts, but came with a CMC trigger and an ambi gavel safety which I love; the grip is also great. I was surprised that this kit came with the standard safety selector and standard trigger. Spikes Tactical Buffer Tube Kit Magpul CTR Stock Magpul MBUS Sights Vortex Spitfire 1x Prism Scope Fortis Shift Vertical Grip Magpul MS4 Sling Adams Arms Tactical Evo Upper with 12" Samson Rail (This is a piston system) Might look into a magnifier in the future but I am happy with it for now. My first "from scratch" build. PSA lower, Magpul stock, Geissele rail, zerofail nickel boron BCG, primary arms 1-6 with ACSS (waiting on mount), Geissele NM trigger, and Colt 6920 barrel.
