Here's everything but the Denny's Guns 16" SS, 1 in 7, midlength barrel which is in the oven warming and waiting for it's coat of Norrell's flat black.  Ooooooohhhhh these things are sooooooo eeeeevillllll

ETA:  It's Done!!!!

Here it is with it's older brother

I've got the Magpul striker plate and reinforcing bracket on the way which will be finished in tan for some contrast and some Magpul ladder rail covers in black on the way for it also.  I'm thrilled with it.

My first build lessons I learned....The ejection port cover goes on before the barrel and FF tube and the buffer detent goes in before the stock tube.  Other than that everything went smooth.  I'll post a range report as soon as I get some quality ammo and time to test it out.

Big thanks to Stickman for the refinishing tips and Denny at GTS, Pete at Legal Transfers and John at Ranier Arms for the parts and fast service and MONGO45 for the xtra set of hands.

Looks like no expense was spared.

Maybe I'll see it in person if we can ever get another group shoot scheduled.

Yes I do but luckily, my wife likes this one as much as I do so she didn't press too hard for an answer when she asked me how much $$$ I've got wrapped up in it!!

You can put it on with the barrel attached. It's just a little harder to do.

Sharp-looking rifle.

Is the tan color Norrell's also? What color, specifically?

[#16]
Yes, the tan is Norrell's flat tan.  I've heard from several people that they don't care for it but it worked well for me and seems to be nice and hard.

phylodog,
That thing looks awesome!  I'm still planning my top half and am not very familiar with all my options.  Could you please give a parts list so I can get more ideas.   Thanks.....SKAL

Very nice build, the color scheme is great. It is spreading, my single black rifle is getting lonely.

What kind of BUIS did you use?

I went with an A.R.M.S. #40 on this one but I just ordered a Matech to try out.  I figured since I built it as a midrange rifle, the ability to adjust for elevation would be nice.
