I have an old cast Essential Arms grey Lower Receiver, that I got back in the real early 80's, and this receiver has seen many rounds, well over 20k, and it still holds up fine, worn but fine.
Does anyone have any real time expierence with their NEW Forged Lower's.
Looking for a real usage report, please no flames.

Thanks,
Chief

Can you get them rebuilt? I have an old cast POS.

I have built a few of the new ones, thousands of rounds through them and zero problems. I also have an old preban cast EA and have never had a problem with that either.
my 2 cents

I'll buy ya a brand new Stag/Mega/Whatever if you send it to me here on the other side of the iron curtain.

This is a good thing. Did 2 for our friends on the other side. Wish I had more to do.
A number of my co-workers have been doing E.A. builds since the ban lifted (cast and forged purchases) and a number of us built rifles up with them before the ban (these were cast). This is the only lower that they are using for their builds. Everyone involved are very satisfied customers. One of my friends has built at least 2 from them after visiting the owner in Krotz Springs and talking with him. Says he's a very nice fellow. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one again.
