I just finished installing an LPK, following the instructions on ar15.com. Well out of curiousity, I googled around to make sure I had the hammerspring installed correctly. On ar15armory.com I found a pic of someone's install, and it is opposite of mine. On a toilet paper roll analogy with my installation, when looking down into the receiver the legs of the spring are like the toilet paper being pulled from below.

On the picture below (not my install, but from ar15armory.com), it is as though the toilet paper roll is being pulled from above. Did I do mine incorrectly? Or is the picture below from ar15armory.com incorrect?

when installed backwards it is significantly lower preload and generally will not fire a round when in battery. It will mark the primer, but it makes a weak "clack" and nothing more. If its too easy to install its probably in backwards.....
