Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - pre/post ban whats the difference

What is the difference between a pre-ban and post-ban upper? Confused on this could not find any hard facts (this is this and that was that). can someone who understands this let me know.  I know the difference between m-16 and ar-15 both the legals of pre/post yuck.

a preban upper (complete with barrel) has both the flash hider and the bayo lug while tha postban upper doesn't

Since Florida has no state-level assault weapons ban, you are free to use the "pre-ban" uppers.
