Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Can't get V-match handguard off!!

Got the uper in a vice block and a strap wrench around the guard.  It should just twist off right?  Are there any tricks to this?  Is it threaded backwards or something?  Any help would be appreciated.

i heard someone say put it in the freezer for a while and itll come right off.
