Fellow Arfcom member/dealer Randall Rausch would be one choice:

www.ar15barrels.com

I have had no experience with him, but see him advertise in his posts. I'm sure that most of the Arfcom dealers could hook you up with custom barrels or mass-produced barrels from the big manufacturers as well.

What exactly are you looking for?

As M4 said, what are you looking for ?

What do you want to do with it ?

A little more info would help.

As suggested above, specifics will be the key to pointing you in the right direction.

However, as a general rule.  Get on the EE and look around at some of the dealers.  There lots of good people to deal with.

ON my last build, I went almost exclusively with Global Tactical Supply (Denny is a helluva guy), and "Brightflashlights" for all my YHM equipment.

I'm actually trying to figure that out ;)

Something chrome lined and preferably 1x7 is really my only major requirement.

Trying to figure out what places stock them :)

Here is my list (in alphabetical order):

Advanced Barrel Systems (ABS)
AR15Barrels.com
ER Shaw
Heart Barrels
JN Rifleworks
Krieger
Lilja Precision Rifle Barrels
Obermeyer Barrels
PAC-NOR
Rock Creek Barrels

For my nex AR-10 build I am going to be using either a JN Rifleworks or a Krieger.  I have dealt with both companies and would be hard pressed to say anything bad about either.  Both make awsome products and stand by their products.

My next barrel is either going to be a 26" from Krieger or a 24" from Noveske.  Still haven't decided, but right now I am waiting for JP's V-Tac ArmaLite AR-10 handguards to come out.

Question:

Are you looking to get a blank? or a finished barrel?  Most of the guys I listed above make completed barrels.  PAC-NOR and Krieger also sell blanks (I think).

All on the list are the good guys, except ER Shaw.
Shaw is a maker of low cost blanks, mostly used by the big mass production companies.
I would not consider their blanks "Good Quality"
Absent from the list are Shilen and Douglas.
Both make a very good barrel blank, but they don't offer completed AR barrels.
ABS barrels are made on Rock Creek blanks.
Noveske uses mostly PacNor as he is in the same area.

Do Shilen and Douglas have web sites?  I want to add them to my collection of links....

EDIT: Found them.   I did forget about them, but I also don't generally get blanks.

I'm kind of pondering my options right now, thinking of how I will be doing a future build.

Really appreciate all the input, has given me a lot of ideas of where to look and some idea of the quality of various makers.
