http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3638565388&category=36258 These are the former Shade Tree forged lowers, now being sold by "Mr3rdman" (TENGMI@aol.com), either on eBay or you can buy direct... And yes, I bought one. Excellent...

Don't know where you read $200...If you took the eBay "Buy it now" for that forged lower, you'd be paying $150 + S&H...Which is what Shade Tree charged for theirs...

With my first one I built I have close to a thousands bucks into it. I built jigs, fixtures etc. Will building your own be cheaper...no. Will it keep you off the illegal database...yes. Just buy one for 90 bucks and sign the yellow copy and be done.

It just seems odd that an unfinished lower would be more than a finished one.
