Is there a real difference between the M4 and CAR Handgaurd? At a glance I cant tell the two apart?

True M4 handguards are oval shaped rather than round. They also have two heatshields instead of one.

This is the same rifle, different looks (I change them when I get bored hehehe)

The black one with the shorty stock has the M4 handguards, the green one the CAR handguards.  When I get home tonight, I can post a side by side if you need me too.
