As part of my effort to build a pistol in 7.62X39, I am going to have to have a barrel cut to length and fluted.  I would like to have the end machined to take the Professional Ordinance type quick detatch muzzle brake.  Can anyone recommend a smith to do this?

If anyone recommends Kurt Wala to do your fluting, etc. then run the other way.  He sure butchered my barrel doing a fluting job a couple of years ago.  The flutes were rough and wavy and he ruined the nice muzzle crown chucking my barrel in his live center.  It took me many hours of hand work to make the flutes look nice.

Good luck with your project.
