I am a little curious as to how the gas tube gets cut to length, and how sloppy the length can be.  When you order a new tube, is it already cut to length?  If not, what is the procedure for cutting it exactly the right length?  How much error can you safely have?

THANKS!

Gas tubes are ready to install, last I checked.

We find it's much cheaper to buy our gas tubing in 1,000 ft. rolls and just cut off what we need. [}:D]
