I'm trying to switch out my stock and can't get the damn buttstock screw to break the locktite seal.  I have the correct size flatblade and am to the point where the screw is getting stripped.  Any pointers?

Heat from a hair dryer should help soften the loctite.

after a violent "WTF???!" i recalled something about loctite being used on some AR assemblies.

i took a capful of rubbing alcohol and dumped it down into the area of the empty stock where the screw resides.

then it came right off.

supa-dupa.
