Anyone else having the windage and especially elevation act weird? I'll adjust the elevation to come up a bit, but the laser does a spiral all over the place up, down, left, right, and eventually settles.  I can get it zeroed, but fine tuning the zero is a pain because up doesn't necessarily make it go up.

I somehow lost all adjustment in windage. It worked, until it didn't. Bottoming the adjusting screw in both directions resulted in zero movement left or right. RMA in progress.

Thanks for sharing! Sure looks like fun.  Mine is sitting in the safe waiting for a surefire tape switch to free up the space on my rail.  Can't wait to take it out.

LOVE the light show first and foremost!  Looks like artillery on the horizon.

So glad you got to capture how sensitive a modern Gen 3 device can be, even at distance only using .2mW of power!  My point early on designing this system was to make a very simple and affordable IR pointer with variable power to cut out the darn blooming with a .7mW laser by not having to mitigate it by adding additional IR Lum.

I gotta ask, what suppressor were you using? Torward the end of the vid we virtually only heard the trigger, bolt and clang of the target!  Or was that just the microphone not picking up the full shot report?

Good stuff and thank you for sharing.

I'm using an older Warlock 2 and pretty sure I've never cleaned it.  I just love shooting my 22 uppers! So quiet.

The NVG on my tripod is a fairly old Pitbull with an OMNI 4-ish tube, IIRC. My helmet mounted NVGs are better, but no where near Tier 1 supertubes.

Think I’ll order one tonight.  Maybe I’ll be lucky and y’all will have enough this week to cover back orders and ship mine!

My unit worked fine the day I received it. I had it in the safe for a week and took it out tonight to play with it and it won't turn on. I just tried 4 different brand new batteries and nothing. Has anyone else experienced this?

@Biglumber

Did you ever get this resolved?

My slightly unorthodox, but seemingly effective set up for night time beaver eradication and trout stream patrol.

Very happy so far with the TOR-mini, just need to get the beavers to cooperate.

@TNVC - Can you tell about the changes to the mounting interface?  I just got one of these a couple of weeks ago, and I've yet to see the rail clamp mine has pictured anywhere else, and I've seen no mention of any changes.

For better parts availability in the supply chain, it was decided to incorporate the PL mounting hardware. We'll get updated pics for the web site soon. Thank you!

Is one setup any better than the other from a strength/longevity perspective?

I'm not familiar with PL mounting hardware, but this looks a lot cleaner and less chintzy than the original cap screws.

Can anyone see if it fits a HK45C?  Rail space is short and I dont want to go passive with a MRDS.

Edited to tag Lew since I forgot to quote in my reply.

Great pistola and I have one. Once I get back from outta town I will check the fit unless someone here reports back first. Thanks

Thanks for checking, guess I'm back to searching for the crimson trace IR that goes around the triggerguard...

One reason I like my MK25 vs. other variants of 226; Sig used a proper rail instead of that Sigrail nonsense. My pistol LAMs lock up nice and tight like they're supposed to.

Got myself a Sionyx up and running and looking into picking one of these up but reading a lot about the adjustment screws being loose. Did anyone confirm if they had a wandering zero?

I got one from the original batch that had no "loctite" on the screws and have had no problems with zero issues yet. I do have it mounted on a sig mpx though so take it for what it is. Does work great with the syonix btw.

Tagged, as I build my potential "bill of materials" list for jumping into NV.
I don't need the distance some others might, and De-TEST nose-heavy guns.  So this might be what the doc ordered as it seems birthing/teething problems are being sorted out, which is cool to see.

Don't have the IR version yet, but I do have the visible green laser. So far so good. Been three weeks and it's still not dead.

It's a marked improvement from the TOR Micro with its massive battery drain while "off" and a hard 1 week cap on battery life even if it's not used at all. Really though, this unit is great. Low profile but excellent power. I'm just nervous about its ability to hold charge while off after the experience with the TOR Micro.

Ordered 10-17-20, received 10-21-20.  Unit looks nice, and easy to use,  battery is funky.  Where the hell do ya get those batteries anyway?  Mounted on my duty rifle at 1200 waiting for my 14 to zero, qual and use.  I'll post a NV noob review then.  I haven't used NVGs since the PVS 7 was the shit.  Fuck I'm old.
I see a lot of practice, trial and error in my future.

What's the best option for running an IR light in conjunction with this?
