Quoted: Well I have good news for you! The XH30 is a thing! XH30 Personally I want an X300 based XH30. Basically an XH30 without the low output or strobe mode; preferably one that fits in all the current X300 holsters. I'll be an early adopter. |

Read through some of the posts here. Came to say Surefire is a top notch company, and I will buy nothing else. They are proud of their products, and their prices show this. But I'll be damned if I use anything else. Personal and operational experience (before I knew better) has shown lesser lights --wont mention any particular company(s)-- do NOT come close to dependability, construction OR warranty as Surefire.
No, I am not endorsed by them. P.S. How many Lumens do you need? All of them. No such thing as too much light....turds. |

I’d have to dig them out but off the top of my head I have a
Guardian M6 it would burn through 6 123 batteries in 20 minutes and throw a whopping 500 Lumens Centurion C3 w/the first Gen LED Head (bright as a small candle) I had a M900, it was a HEAVY PIG. |

I totally agree that there are much better options for handhelds. There simply aren't any for WMLs, though. My EDC is a Nitecore P12. |

As I stated somewhere in this thread, no one has a tape switch that’s even remotely on the level of Surefire.
As I also stated I will probably purchase this new light simply because it uses 18650 batteries. I will in all probability also change the head out for a custom unit. |

Wondering how an M600 thread became a "Surefire's handhelds are overrated" thread.
Who gives a shit about standalone lights? This is ar15.com, not pocket lights.com. |

Back on topic, now have an M600DF on both my primary rifle and my primary shotgun. And yes, I know my rifle setup is decidedly outside of current Arfcom vogue and more like 2010 era. NFG. It works for me, I like it.

FYI. The DF Scout head will not fit on legacy Scout lights. In order to accommodate the 18650 batteries the head and body of the DF scout are wider than the legacy scouts lights which only accepted 123 batteries. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

Been waiting to pick one up since they were reviewed by Recoil, so quite awhile. Has more spill than the markoff(sp?) head on an arisaka body and a longer throw. I love it. It's the tits and kills the orginal scout I used in the shit hole.

Do 123s rattle around in the DF models like they do other bored bodies?

Hi guys, I need some schooling on the rechargeable 18650s batteries. How long does it take to fully charge the 18650? And how long will it hold the charge? Can I leave a charged 18650 inside a vehicle during the summer and winter? What is typical life of the 18650 before it need to be replace?
Please share any strategies that you are going to apply for using this new SF 600DF lights with your weapon, this new rechargeable 18650 on the weapon light is all new to me. Thanks in advance. |

I'm surprised personally to see SF using 18650s.
