Headline says it all. Arrived NIB today and with supplied batteries it won't turn on.

I tried some new Surefire batteries I have and no go there either.

WTF. It is a goddamn $150 light.

Check at points of contact for insulator used for shipping.

Wipe all threads at every point front to rear with terry towel and reassemble.

barring that return for replacement.

Make sure the lens is screwed down tight and the battery is in the right way.  Inforce battery's go in positive end towards the gun.

I screwed the bezel until it can't go any further and the positive end of the battery is pointed towards the back. There is no little spring though, is there supposed to be one?

The only spring tension is the little nipple that protrudes from the rear of the led itself.

I'm guessing not. Every light I've had (that uses 1 or inline batteries) has the battery go in positive end FIRST.
