I admist I dont use them much, but I deal with OTAL's and ITAL's pretty regular. They are a good unit with a bright laser. I hate that their pressure pad doesnt fit in Tango Down cut out pannels or their vert grip, and I think the pressure pad could attach more securely to the unit, but other than that, they are pretty good stuff.

Adding to what Ink stated...Very durable unit, light weight for its durability and I think one of the brightest day time lasers out there. They work AWESOME as well during the night and with an NVD, (if stealth is not a concern) spectacular! My customers just love the unit with NVD's. Hope this helps

new arguy
find some very thin plastic sheet; like from a milk jug or old credit card, cut it to fit the slot of your tango down, then neatly tape it to the back of your tape switch with electrical tape. slide it in and voila!, works fine, lasts a long time. |

I get bloom in my NVDs with the visible OTAL. It's too much light for my NODs. As for day time... I can't think of any reason to use it in the day time...

Do you find it to be very useful with a Red dot optic like EoTech or Aimpoint. The two rifles pictured are using aimpoints......I haven't seen one in person, but looks intersting...i guess im just interested to know the purpose of it......Dont mean to hijack, i tried to search

Under 50 yards the unit will bloom a target a bit. At 100m and out is where I feel the unit works well. Vic |

   OTAL is nice, maintains zero after removal and reattachment, very robust unit and best of all the laser beam is good and straight

G&R Tactical, among others, but they appear to be out of stock at the moment. Someone ran a group buy on them a while back. That's where I got mine, but I don't remember who it was. |
