Anybody have any experience with this light?  Would it function ok as a weapons light on my AR?

I've been browsing candlepowerforums.com, and apparently SF tailcap switches can be used on the M6.  Also, there are 5W LED modifications available for the M6, which members there have been raving about.  I'm curious as to how the light with the 5W mod would function as a weapon light.

The Pelican M6 is an amazing flashlight bargain!

It out throws the Surefire 6P, replacement lamps are cheaper, and it comes with a belt sheath.

I'll take a $29.00 M6 over a $50.00 6P any day.

I use a G2 as a cheap weapons light on my AR.
I prefer the matte, non-reflective coating on the G2 over the shinier black aluminum finish on the 6P.
Looks like the Pelican M6 is aluminum, and would have a shinier finish than the G2.
