And I need some help picking one out. It doesn't need to be anything more than a 3 volt. I would like to keep it relatively small... and would like to mount it to the barrel or the front sight, and I would also need a wire with a pressure pad to put it on my vertical foregrip. I do have the M33 handguard set, but I dont want to mount the light in front of the grip. Any ideas what setup and mount I would be looking for? I have gone through a majority of the websites on the links page of this website, but haven't found much. Any help would be appreciated, would like to keep costs below 300 dollars.

Main purpose is for a home-defense carbine.

I ran a Surefire 659 6 volt light for years. I just replaced it with a M900A. This is a great light. I never had any trouble with this light, I just decided to update. The 659 is designed to mount under the front sight tower. The 660 is the same light but the mount is designed to mount to the barrel. Here is a pic of it on my old work M4. The only 3 Volt lights I know of are the Minimag, the micro light for the Springfield XD-9 and the E1e. You sure you didnt mean 6 Volt?
