The "P" swith is momentary only unless you twist the switch body for constant on. You want a M962C which has a "C" switch which does both momentary and constant on.

Does anyone know if you can get a "S" option (disable flag switch on the tailcap) on the 962 or is that option only available on the Universal WeaponLights?

You can also go with the SW02 switch on the MU system if you don't like the "C" model.
