Went to their site and there appears to be no mention of it whatsoever.

That is awesome and looks too well made to be airsoft. Sadly, the reason I quit using a Grip pod was the weight, too heavy for a VFG.

Who the hell said anything about airsoft?

You've never seen a knockoff grip pod?

Of course.  What's that got to do with this thread?

Here's the original article:

As said previously, the weight was the problem for me. LOVED the concept but that prototype with the additional extensible legs looks like it would weigh a ton.

I'd rather they made a smaller version.

Good lord man...................

You stated that you couldn't find any info on their website about it.

I said that it looked to well made to be airsoft or worded another way, that it looked like the real deal and not some knockoff. Most cheap, knockoff or Chinese made parts are sometimes refereed to as "airsoft" around here.

Next time put the link in the original post.

I think we were talking past each other.  I wasn't saying I didn't know who the maker was, which is why I was asking what their plans were rather than saying "who makes this".   Obviously nobody here knows what their plans are so I've put in an email to them on the topic.
