I have a new TangoDown grip that will not even begin to slide onto the receivers I own (which are of CMT manufacture) unless I remove some amount of material from the cutout that mates with the lower.  Is this a known issue with these grips?

Soak the female section of the grip in hot water, which will soften it up and allow it to go on easier.

Mine was tight on my Stag lower, but with a little push it got on there.
