Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - How about 3 point sling mount using single point sling plate

this moves the back of the sling forward more.what happens?Anyone know?

I tried it.  Was not impressed, went back to standard mounting.

This stuff is a personal preference issue, but moving the sling attachment point farther forward like this allows the stock to flop a bit when the stock is hanging, negating some of the advantage of using a 3-point vs a single point.
