Is the Gemini going to be 9mm only? I’d rather have a 5.56 calibrated variant of this, or the exact same reticle of the 1X. I feel like the Raptor is way too cluttered for that small of a window.

Got to play with the 1x today. I like it a lot.

Friend heard me complaining that the trijicon TA44 1.5 ACSS was out of stock. Told me to try this. Love the mounting options and eye relief. Since it’s not a duty rifle I’ll save some money and slap one of these on. I’ll wait for some magnification though.

Since an industry rep is in this forum, go ahead and put me down for the 3x when they release.

Military Arms Channel just did a review of the PA micro prism sights in general, and does show off the 3x in it a bit:

Has the eye relief been nailed down? The article linked above states 2.7" but that's 11 months ago so  possibly a prototype? In the pictures it shows it on a reverse cantilever so maybe a bit shorter than the 1x.

Have a question that maybe the PA guys can help with. I'm wanting a short, lightweight, short eye relief optic to run behind a clip on. I had high hopes for the ta31 but the horse shoe reticle is blurry and the 4x cuts off or fisheyes some of the border information. Will your 3x have a sharp reticle staring at a screen an inch or 3 away? In the reviews they said it will have an adjustable diopter and am wondering if this will help in that regard.

Eta also wondering if there's enough tube on the back of the 3x for a ring mount for an rmr type piggyback. In this pic it looks like there might be....

Ta heck with the 1X, what is up with the 3X?   Is it going to happen at the end of December (long gone) or is it just a lame 5-dollar lap dance?

Some kind of an update would be nice!

Agreed...just tried out a Swampfox Trihawk, and its too large/high but the magnification is right and like the green reticle.  Really hoping the 3x with green 300 BO reticle is available by this Spring.

Was thinking about the Trihawk, but did not dig the reviews on the eye relief so I passed.  I had and liked the blade though, that said I wanted some magnification.

Odd this hasn't come out but they're taking orders on the new 3X micro magnifier. Seems like it will make some of their other optics obsolete. Wonder if they want to sell down inventory of those first.

I thought so too.  I'll guess the hang-up is supply chain issues with their illumination/Shake Awake components.

Just a guess.

Really curious about the eye relief on the 3X. I bought the Burris but the eye relief was ridiculous so I returned it.

Was it shorter than the advertised 2.6" or a shorter box?

I got to play with one at the store. Eye relief was short but not ta31 short. Eyebox seemed decent and glass was surprisingly good. Reticle is on the small side but usable. I'm considering picking one up if I get tired of waiting for the PA 3x.

A full review I found. At about 12:05 he shows a full view and the glass looks pretty damn good actually. Doesn’t look like the illumination was fully on, since when he showed it earlier out of focus it was significantly brighter.

That looks like exactly what I need. If I remembered right they used the mini acog pattern so an adm base should work. I wonder what diameter the tube is. It almost looks like there's enough tube sticking out the back for one of these...

Maybe they are short-handed and going through them one by one to make sure they all work as described. They were checking the 1x prisms to make sure that a non-working model did not slip through and leave a sour taste for a customer. I too am waiting for a lightweight 3x prism to try out.

Alright, I'm not saying the because PA let me review the 1x, but that was horrible.  No questions answered. Talk about the eye box, talk about the reticle usefulness at speed and distance, does it work passively with NODs?

If it won't fit one of those, I'm sure (and hope) someone will make something enabling an RMR or similar MRDS to sit on top.  Because that would be one Awesome and Capable little package!

Swampfox has an integrated MRDS plate on the side of their new prism. They put it exactly in the middle instead of off axis so it won’t be as intuitive, but I think that’s going to be the future since it’s so easy to do.

I hope so. I mostly want it to try in front of a clip-on and not having a top mounted dot for passive is kind of a draw back.

Is the reticle too tiny? The GLX2 has a decent size reticle, other acss scopes I’ve seen not so much.
