Got an email notification from Centurion Arms.  Very limited run of the hard-to-find C4 diopter sights are now available.  These are made specifically for AR flat top upper receivers to achieve the proper height.  When I logged on earlier there was 12 left in stock.  Now there's 7 as of a few minutes ago.  I know some guys have been looking for these and they've become as rare as hens teeth, so here's your chance. Good luck. Centurion Arms C4 Diopter Sights

Been looking for them for years at this point, and I got an email from Corrie a while back that they were going to do a limited run before Christmas.  I didn't realize how limited it was going to be, but I bought a few sets.

Best fixed sights I've ever used.

Just ordered a set - I didn't realize these were such a hot commodity.  I'm always looking for quality iron sights for a basic carbine layout.

How do you guys like these sights?

Are they actually functional, or would I be better off going with Scalar Works fixed sights?

I've never used diopter sights on an AR, but what advantages do they give?

Or are most people buying these for clone/aesthetic purposes?

Thanks

Why spend so much on these when you could go to RTG and get a set for $99?

RTGs are lower height (think HK 416).

Robert RTG store
It's a good store for surplus parts for AKs, and HK rifles, and some others. They usually are a decent bit cheaper than HK parts.

I run the RTGs on my MPX. Keep in mind that they are designed to work with the HK416 so they sit low on an AR flat top upper.

The HK diopter sights are about 3/8" lower than normal M4 sights -- if that matters to anyone.

Used to have a set of these, actual C4 sights waaaaaaay back in the day.  2009'ish time frame.  Kick myself for selling them.
