I've had a LAS/TAC now for a little over a year, but always wanted the feature of getting around my FSB with 100% repeatability when I mounted and remounted the laser. Nothing fit the bill until now.

I just got my LaRue 1" offset QD mount (delivere directly from LaRue via UPS gorund in 3 days!), and it is the shits! (Just like my LaRue EOTech, Sure Fire M96X ARMS replacement, and Compact ACOG mounts)

Mounted the LAS/TAC on my top rail with the Laser  projecting off the right side, and it clears my FSB and SF M9XX with no problem, and I have mounted, and remounted it 10 times with 100% repeat zero. Another big benefit is that I don't have to look at the "Ghost Image" of my LAS/TAC anymore through my EOTech.

Once again..LaRue rocks!

That's pretty much how I did it, but I set the LAS/ TAC back somewhat so it doesnt interfere with my LaRue mounted SF M900 series light with push button that resides on the right rail up by the Front Sight. Tape switch LAS/TAC in a VLTOR VFG as well.

Now if we could just get LDI to make a tape switch that isn't so damned long that it sticks out of the bottom of the VLTOR VFG. I actually cut my pressure pad, amd resealed it. but don't recommend it. Only the top 1/2 of the pad works now when you squeeze it.

im guessing all LDI products with the tape switch have the same problem cause i have an otal and td vfg and the tape switch doesnt fit it either.
