For my S&W MP15 I ended up going with the LaRue, it is rock solid.  The newer version is a little better with the locking lever and battery compartment but they are hard to find.

Agreed, most pictures I see show our boys using the standard Aimpoint QD mount.

I have had and used both. I sold the ARMS and have gone LaRue exclusively.

Same here.

I put my Larue on and have no reason to take it off, so I wouldn't know if there's a mark under there!

ARMS has been around for 25 years.

Their products have been in use by the US military for most of that time.

Have ya never viewed this: www.armsmounts.com/companyInfo.html or viewed a SOF magazine in all that time?

They are both high quality mounts.  THe Larue might be better becasue it is adjustable, but the ARMS is more versatile.  They are both excellent mounts.

Nice blaster.

Thanks, I haven't shot it yet but I am really diggin the Aimpoint setup.  I had an EOTech on my LMT and I prefer the Aimpoint by a long shot.  The rifles fit and finish are really nice as well.
