med or high scope rings.. with a arms 40L?

I just bought a bushnell banner 4-12x40 scope, just for plinking. I have a arms 40L buis, Does anyone know what size rings will still let the scope clear the 40L>>??

An ARMS #35 base with Med. rings would work.

thanks for the reply but I already have the 40L ..
I guess I just have to get the scope and mesure it and see..

I think you're thinking of the #38 (Swan Sleeve w/ integrated rear sight). The #35 is the QD base that takes the track-mount rings.
