Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question on arms buis and scope rings ?

I just recently finshied my 20" flat top ar and i want to scope it. I got the scope down to either a bushnell banner 6-24X mildot scope or a leapers 3-12X mildot scope. From my understanding the bushnell has a 1" tube and the leapers has a 30mm tube and i can decide between the two scopes. I was also looking for rings and from what i read i need extra high ring"s could sombody verfy this and also with this scope /ring's combo will a  a.rm.s 40a2 sight fit under the scope or do i need to order the 40lp
