That is a personal preference kind of thing. If you're not using a riser then I'd suggest getting a folding BUIS (like the Troy). If you use a riser than a nice simple fixed BUIS like the LaRue or Cav-Arms are really nice.
That trick works at CQB distances for COM shots, but I'd still get a BUIS. |

I have LMT and like it. No flip up its just there. Makes the sight a little busy but if you were to need it
one less thing to go wrong. If you go flip ups go Troy. |

Get the Troy flip up if you go that route. It's better to have and not need, than to need and not have.
