anyone know how to safely remove krylon paint from an aimpoint & larue mount??  i don't want to risk screwing up the aimpoint, i am pretty sure the larue can take almost anything.

Try some carb cleaner or brake cleaner. Worst case is you might have to replace the o-rings under the adjustment caps. You can tape off the lenses to keep the cleaner out of there. Try a little first on the cap retainer if it's the newer plastic kind. You don't want to melt that!

i used acetone, it got it off.
