Its a design that the military adopted for A2's, it seems pretty solid and it uses the existic irons as Backup.

Are these any good, how much would you pay for a used one?

I just sold my OEM Aimpoint mount to another board member for about $35.



HERE is a VERY expensive version of what I think you are looking for.

On one Bushmaster I put the Bennie Coolie mount for my EOTech 551. I originally had the 551 mounted on my other Bushmaster flat-top H BAR. As soon as I got my 552 I put the 551 on the Bennie Coolie mount w/ the M4 type 16 in barrel. Then I put the 552 on my flat top Bushy. It sets up real easy, and my 551 works great with that mount. There are a few different sight mounts that can do this.
