Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Estimated battery life for Leupold illuminated?

Anybody have an idea about how long a 1/3N should last in a Leupy VX-III illuminated?

I got the scope a couple months ago, and suspect the battery wasn't real fresh.  The one I temporaily "borrowed" from the M3 works much better at 2.876 VDC than the one I pulled out at 1.384.  

Oh well, looks like past time to pick up some spares, just wondering how many.

Not long. Mine went dead after about two months in the safe. Yes, it was turned off.
