OK, I bought one after reading the reviews here.  Want to install it on a 16" frankengun.
I have mounted numerous scopes and dots but this is the first one I have seen that specs torque on the screws (in inch pounds).
Looked at Brownell's today, the torque wrench will cost me more than the S.P.O.T.
So...do I dare proceed with a bare naked allen wrench?

Just tighten the shit out of it, thats all. use locktite too if you feel like it. You can torque a barrel nut properly without a torque wrench, torquing optic mounts is a cakewalk.
