With an 11.5" barrel why not a short range optic like an EOTech/Aimpoint? Save the magnified optic for a longer barreled rifle?

I use a 2x and I don't think it or the 1.5x is too much for a 11.5" barrel.

imo a 1.5 is a waste.
barely any mag. over an aimpoint or eotech but with the added cost. i would go with 2x

I found the 1.5X to be slower than the Aimpoint with no benefit to speak of for longer range shooting. I would go 2X or Aimpoint if it were me.
