I need help choosing an aimpoint mount. is there one that gets you the corect co witness, is sturdy, and around $50?

also, can someone tell me what the comp M, M2, M3 means?

Look for a used Aimpoint QRP in the EE section.  It's no LaRue or ARMS, but it's well built and returns to zero decently.  Used w/o the spacer and the front sight is dead center of the optic, used w/ the spacer and the front sight is in the lower 1/3.

Oh I should point out the QRP's are the US Army M68 ISSUED flattop mount, so don't think you're getting some cheap commercial unit.
