You'll get lots of different opinions here.  All three are quality tools.  I've used all three and settled on the MR/T 1.5-5 but you should practice with them before you decide.

i would drop the eotech since it is similar to the aimpoint and wont offer much over the others.

i myself couldnt justify the slight 1x increase of the leupold over the ta31f  along with it having to use batteries and probably not able to see the illum in daylight.

Yes, you can see the MR/T iluminated reticle in bright daylight.

All are good optics.

The EOTech is fast, but no magnificaiton it's not as precise as the others at range.

If you want to shoot precise - the most precise would be the Leupold, however personally I would go with a higher magnification 3.5-10x.

I have thought about picking up the TA31F but --

ta31f Details: ACOG 4x32 Scope with Red Chevron BAC Flattop Reticle -. The ranging reticle is calibrated for 5.56mm (.223 cal 62gr. 14.5" barrel @ 3050fps )

14.5in barrel length ?  I was hoping to put this scope on my RRA Elite with a 16in barrel length.

your thoughts-

all that is just for the bullet drop compensator which there is a universal one tacked up top of this forum so that doesnt matter much.

I BOUGHT THE 551 EOTECH !!

I also have a Shorty w/ ML2/39arms gooseNeck

As far as wich one is best I cant really say!

I do like the fact that the ML2 sits above hand guards.

The 551 sits on a Flat top LMT M4 w/ arms 40 BUIS

I wish  arms would make a mount that sets the 551 etc ahead of the Delta!
