I just purchased a "Russian Pilad" 4x32 scope with illuminated Dragunov style reticle and would like more info about it. It certainly seems like a decent little scope and the glass is pretty clear.
Illuminated Dragunov style range finding reticle, 2 levels of brightness.
Takes two watch batteries though the ones that are in there seem undersized.
Has "VOMZ" written on rubber lens covers and side pod.
Black krinkle finish.
Windage and elevation knobs resettable to "0" once scope is sighted in.
Thanks in advance,
Can't say much about it other than it's worth every penny of the sub $100 it cost me a few years back. Holds zero and has good glass. The side illuminator housing and switch is kinda funky on the old style. The new style has an updated rotary switch with adjustable brightness levels.
I agree that the glass looks good though I can't comment on it's function as I've yet to mount it up. (Still deciding upon what I will mount it.)
