But they've changed it a bunch, before that it was Nov 05

My carbine has no optic yet on account of it

Which Eotech are you referring to?  The new style made to fit the magnifier?  The CR123 version?

I'm very interested in the new HMS. As soon as it's out, my 552 is up for sale.

As soon as they come out I am building a new upper, and moving my 552 to my AK. And yes I am talking about the Eotech with the magnifier. FMJs

I was told the 553 should be released late Feb or March

And when will LaRue have a replacement for the ARMS throw-lever system it comes with?

If what I've heard is correct, yes.

yeah it's too bad the ARMY decided they like A.R.M.S. products because all of their contracts are now calling for A.R.M.S. mounts if they are to be a quick detach throw lever.

It's definately too bad Larue didnt have the throw levers in at the time the contracts where under trial.  I am sure the Military would have chosen them over ARMS.  Too bad it's such a lumbering beauracracy.

EOTech wanted to use LaRue leavers when designing it, but the military requested/demanded ARMS instead

LaRue is already working on end-user replacements

I wonder if the ARMS mount on the 553 will retro fit on other eotech models.

Then there will be a market for them when you want to take it off and sell it for a LaRue replacement.
