Does someone make a knock off, of the GG&G MAD rear flip up?
I bought one for a friend (thing it'd be easy to find the vendor later) at a gun show and now I can't find one for myself. Why do I want a knock off? They were half the price and I want a few of them

American Spirit Arms makes one, and of course the Airsoft copies too.

I have an ASA sight, and I like it.  I don't want tritium in mine because I consider it worthless on a rifle with a long sight radius.  And I don't think I'll be using my irons in pitch black anyway. That's what the Tripower would be for.

I've watched the ASA fall apart while people were shooting a qual.  If its a range only toy, know yourself out, if its anything else, I would get something better.

I believe Brownells carries them. For a few $$$'s more, get a GGG MAD. Ive had both-----> you get what you pay for!

Check the EE as they often come up. I bought a like new locking detent GGG MAD from a gent for $70 a couple months ago.

i wasted $50 on a knockoff.... i wish i had just shelled out the extra $40 for the real thing.  don't ask the brand name because i dont even know, but this POS wiggles and jiggles so much it should be sold by bill cosby.

I noticed that the knockoff version has a small plate holding the guts in with small screws holding the plate on.  I don't know how the GGG works, but it doesn't look like it has any seems or places for it to pop open so the guts can spill out...

are all GGG ones tritium?  no, right?

JT Dist has them also, and they are NOT ASA.  I've handled them and they seem well made.  $70 is the price, unless it has changed in the last couple of weeks.  HTH
