I just got my Trippower and can't wait to mount it on my Flat top. I don't like the low stock mount it came with. Since I swapped out my Aimpoint, I thought I was better off using the my Aimpoint LaRue Cantilever Aimpoint mount on the Tripower, since they are both 30mm. Unfortunatly, the LaRue Aimpoint mount has a little left-right play on the Tripower. The Larue mount fit perfect on the Aimpoint but know Im left needing a new one for my Tripower.

What mount does anyone anyone suggest I should get that is mounted high enough to allow co-witness with my LMT Buis?

Use the same mount you would use to cowhitness an Aimpoint-- the tubes are the same diameter.

Try this, install both bottom screws first completely. Then install the top screws. It should work.

+1 The lower screws first should solve your problem. The mounts should work exactly the same for the Aimpoint and Tripower.

Will try your suggestions 1st. It didn't make much sense why the Aimpoint fits nice and tight but the Tripower has a micro amount of play but just enough to throw off the red dot.

The only reason I know this is because it happened to me, er, I mean a friend of mine. That guy has no idea what he's doing with his stuff.
