   ON A FLATTOP...

Will an ARMS # 38 standard work with an Aimpoint ML2 w/ 22M68 ?? Will the rear flip up co-witness with the front sight ???

     Thanks in advance.

Perfectly.

Id prefer the ARMS 40 backup sight along with the 22M68 mount with a full or cantilever spacer.  I dont feel the need for the extra weight of the 38's Rail.  It does make a nice clean, low profile package though.

Yes it will.
However it will negate the use of specialty spacers(regular and Cantilever). A better option would be to keep it "flattop" with a seperate BUIS and M68/spacer.

Thank's for your opinions gentlemen. I think I'll skip the #38 due to the weight issue.

There is no ht. issue, the #38's are exactly the same ht. as either of the full spacers. You don't need a spacer with a #38, and a #38S-ex gives a hole lot more places to put the optic, etc., in position, plus has the #40 built in.
