A buddy of mine in the IDF has a surplus Trilux scope and mounting system for an M16.

He offered it to me and I wanted to know if anybody has any experience using one of these. I know about the inverted pointer already.

Not too bad for what it is, if he is offering it for free, I would take it if I were you.

The one I used was mounted to the carrying handle, it was sitting a little too high for my taste.
