Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - What's the difference between the EOtech 551.A65 Revisions C and D?

Is there any difference in the EOtech Revision C and Revision D other than the control buttons on the back of the unit? Is there any difference in the optical quality or quality of the electronics contained within the site? Thanks in advance!

Hello Einrich, there are some big differences. The current verision of EOTech is REV E. Besides the raised rubber face plate, it has longer battery life and greater depth submergence. The rubber face plate is worth it by itself!

There is no difference between the control pad of the Rev.C and the [b]Rev.D[/b].

I emailed EOTech a few months back asking this same question. Their response was, aside from some minor internal component differences, the two sights were identical in construction and performance.

The [b]Rev.E[/b] as stated previously is another story.....

Rev C and D is only seperated by minor electronics upgrade.
