After experiencing an EoTech for the first time, is the Aimpoint in the same type of technology?? Is one or the other better in Low Light conditions, or normal light?
Which one is the most reliable under rough conditions or nasty weather??

Are you trying to stir up trouble, or have you honestly not yet tried the search function?

This gets discussed often, with as much heat and smoke as a discussion of weaver vs. isosceles.

EOTech has a better field of view through the optic.

This was about the ONLY thing I felt was better on the EOTech, but I have an affinty with tubular optics and sold my EOTech for a CompM2.

Then I got another Aimpoint for another rifle...

Preference.

Yes, Shivan got it right!  It's all preference, I went from an Aimpoint M2 to an EOTech 552. Try them both and get what works best for you!

The EOTech's and Aimpoints are both excellent optics, you can't go wrong with either one.

Though I will soon be moving up to a ACOG TA31[:D], I'll still be hanging on to my EOTech!

STJ (starting the jihad)

Don't you mean is the Eotech in the same class as the Aimpoint?

If ARMS would only make a lo-pro Eotech mount, the Eotech would be almost as good as an Aimpoint.  [:P]

Get both of 'em and you'll never be wondering "Should I have bought the other one?". I did and now I don't [:)]

One is mil-spec - the other isn't (yet!).
