Hi folks, this is my first post in the optics arena. I am getting a flat top M4 with a gas-block front. The front has rails for mounting optics. I would like to know some of my choices for placing flip up sights, both front and rear. Can you help? I definitely need it!

While at a gunshow, I saw a front flip-up sight/gas block that was very nearly identical in operation to the ARMS #40 rear sight(same type of latch, spring-loaded in the "up" position). If I were into folding front sights, THAT'S the one I'd get.

If you have any flavor of RAS, you can use KAC's flip up sights for the RAS (front sight image stolen from MSTN www.mstn.biz) [:)]
