ARMS mounts for Aimpoints seem to be
pretty popular but the guys at the gunshop
I go to recomend GG&G cantilever mounts &
MAD flipup rear sights. Anyone have any
experince with them??

I have the mad for a few months and a GGG standard ring. I really like their products and will continue to purchase GGG for my next aimpoint mount. GGG standard ring on a KAC RAS II with a MAD back up site

I like the ARMS rings but I like GGG's MAD better than the ARMS flip up sight. The ARMS flip up can have problems clearing the ocular of some scopes, where as the MAD lies much lower when folded down so you can use almost any scope with it.

I have GG&G's cantilever on a shorty enrty gun. It keeps on tick'n. Hoplite that's a nice set up you got.

Tomster: I have the GG&G MAD behind a GG&G scout rail with an Aimpoint Comp M2 mounted as far forward as it will go. The rifle is a LEO Bushy entry gun. I have been very happy with the setup. The BUIS is only for a very last-ditch SHTF situation where the Aimpoint goes down, so the MAD is all the rear sight I need, and I like the very low profile of the MAD. The Aimpoint is mounted with a GG&G standard ring & it has been rock solid. When I removed it to install a SureFire 500A, it returned perfectly to zero. The spare battery compartment on the ring is very handy too.....

Here's the Cantilever on my rifle. I liked it so much that I'm getting another one for one of my other rifles. CHRIS
