I'm guessing it's made for airsoft.

Have seen those at a few gun shows and yes they are designed for Airsoft guns. Seemed like it was made well enough. Not sure how well it would hold up under actual recoil forces as airsoft guns don't have any "thump" to them.

YES!! At least I can spot a "fake!!! If you're going to get a "inexpensive" red dot, why not just get a $35-$60 BSA or Simmons? Please understand that I don't have any experience with inexpensive red dots but if you can't swing the cost of an Aimpoint right now, why spend so much money on a copy? It maybe called an "Aimpoint" copy but with that big knob on the side, it doesn't look any more like an Aimpoint to me than a BSA or Simmons. Anyway, just my .02.

I agree with you guys about buying quality. Infact, I am between getting an Aimpoint or an Eotech. I had never seen this "aimpoint" copy before and was just wondering why the cost was so high and figured that it was not a true relfex anyway (no parallax). I'm looking at the Aimpoint Comp C (1x). Any thoughts on this one for my M4??

Yeah, I've got an Aimpoint Comp C/ Aimpoint QRP mount on my M4a3. Best thing since sliced bread! Works flawlessly, is damn accurate and holds zero when removed. It's fairly new but I've already banged it around, used it in tropical rain conditions and have gotten it quite dirty and dusty. No problems. Great sight.
